I started my career in the financial industry as a loan underwriter and administrator of mortgages but later moved to acting as a mortgage consultant working directly with borrowers to assist them in obtaining and understanding the many mortgage loan types and products to suit their personal requirements. Since entering the mortgage brokerage industry I have had the privilege of assisting a great many number of families achieve their dream of home ownership or helped existing homeowners reorganize or reposition debt to accelerate the payment of their mortgage loan.
I have great experience of working with clients with poor credit or little knowledge with the mortgage industry and believe that they are best served by having proper counsel and access to all the products in the market place through a mortgage broker. I work closely with these types of borrowers and enjoy seeing them develop from a terrible risk to lenders to an A borrower that can confidently approach any lender. It's great seeing when people are able cut their payments in half or more by learning and unlearning some habits, and getting a mortgage product that fits with them now and working with a plan for tomorrow and the years ahead. I believe this approach is the basis to expanding my referral source; the great majority of my customers are past clients and/or referrals from friends or well-respected individuals within our community.
